Ok, My problem is that I have a game (Americas Army) and I try to play it and it says I dont have enough Video card ram. It says I only have 64mb. I have a Geforce 4 MX 440 with 128mb. And I have played all other games and everything just fine. Then one day I start up my computer and Windows XP runs slow and then I try to launch the game and it says I do not meet the system requirements because of what I said earlier. Now I go to system and it says I have 448mb of ram and my video card has 64mb. It always said I had 385mb of ram with 128mb for the Video Card. I have checked for bam ram chips, I did a system restore, tried rolling back my drivers and updateing them. Still it doesent work. One thing to note is I was playing Xbox online and some guy said instant message him. (On Xbconnect.) So I did and he said he was stealing my ram but I new that wasnt possible. Then ever sense it has been having problems. Also my mother even noticed a slow down and I just want to know why it says 64mb and not 128mb. If you could help that would be great. I hope I didnt forget anything. Thanks!!

If I can recall, this message is so Sept11th and I remember someone's comment regarding it's repeated repackaged format albeit everytime.

Obviously you still have some kinda problem here.

My take is if you have integrated video besides your AGP card, remove the vid card and see what the memory count is before windows loads and after it loads and post back the info.

Did you chech your BIOS settings?

If you BIOS works fine, then you must reinstall windows XP. The thing is that 5 out of 10 registry and/or XP files gets corrupted for an unknown reason, even microsoft don't know why.

Well, you can't actually steal ram by IM, but you can sent a virus that will mess with the numbers. Update your virus checker and scan your entire system. Use System Restore to go back to Last Known Good Configuration.
