i just bought a ATI Radeon 9250 PCI card. I used to have NVidia card in my computer, an eMachine T1105. I uninstalled the drivers for the Nvidia, turned off the computer, and installed the ATI. I started the computer, installed the drivers for the ATI, and restarted. All went well. So what is my question? My start Button, and the task bar disappeared!! I have tried changing the resolution, and that doesn't help. I started in safe mode, and the task bar appears. My question is, how can I get it back??

How to Perform a Clean Boot in Windows XP To help troubleshoot error messages or other issues when you cannot determine the cause of the issue, disable common startup programs, settings, and drivers to eliminate possible software conflicts when you start Microsoft Windows XP. This procedure is known as "clean booting." (Can be done by way of Windows Safe-Mode, logon as Administrator, but where it says RESTART, restart into normal Windows.) How to perform advanced clean-boot troubleshooting in Windows XP and that one is a heavy duty article.
