I just downloaded an Omega Catalyst 2.5.97 Driver for my ATI 9200SE PCI video card. However, i haven't installed it yet because it asks me to uninstall my old driver. Im afraid that by doing that the screen will go black or crash and ill never fix it again. It also say something about "if your games don't start and the graphics are slow...you MUST re-install the latest AGP chipset drivers for your mother Board" I aint touchin that. if someone could help me or tell me what im up against, id be very grateful.

Hi ... First off don't sweat it , Its okay to remove your old video card driver , its not going to go blank , it will go to windows default setting which is normal , just do as told remove it from the add and remove program area , then make sure its not in your program file area as well . Open the explorer , to do this >> Right click your start button , follow by the " Explorer " Now it should open where your operating stsyem is install , I mean under the drive , which should be the C drive , Okay now if this is true , Just expand the c drive which again I believe it is , Look for " Program Files " there will be a + sign beside it , expand this pulse sign , Now look for your video card file , which is ATI , Once found delete it , then go to the start buttom , follow by " search " and do a search for the same video card driver ( ATI ) delete everything it finds , then go to your recycling bin and delete everything in there as well ... Now restart your computer and once its back up again download your newest driver , Though do remember if you do end up having problems , You just might need to update your chipset , which is no big deal
