Hey everybody, i just wanted to know if it was possible to change my background on the desktop to a video. I kinda searched for this already but could'nt find anything.

It might be possible, I don't know, but it will seriously slow down your system.

im not too worried. i want my screensaver to be the actual background.

You might be able to pull something off using Active Desktop. Excluding that, I'd look for a third party shell.

There is a way, and I used microsoft frontpage to do it.........
run frontpage and start a new page.

right click the page and select "properties", click advanced, and put 0 into all margins.

then "insert" picture->video, and choose yr video.

right click picture symbol, choose picture properties-->video, and choose to repeat forever.

click appearance and put exact same screen resolution as your desktop (uncheck the keep aspect ratio), save as a web page and exit.
then choose your webpage as your desktop.
