Can anyone tell me why a vhs tape recorded to dvd gives good sound and picture but as you go further into the film the lips of people speaking go slightly out of sync. I find it irratating any ideas ?
Thanks for replying I will try that, I wondered if it was anything to do with having it come through a 10metre cable from the vhs when recording on pc.

I had that problem on a older computer running a 1.4 thunderbird processor. Built me a newer faster computer and hadnt had the problem since. It is very frustrating isnt it? I tried to find software that would get it back in sync but never was successful.
May God forgive, and bless the United States.

Ron, it's not the cable. Video and audio getting out of sync is a very common problem. Try a different capture program.
