Hi,

My brother continually gets this message at each restart of his pc:

'Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\jutuafsu.dll

the specified module could not be found.'

I have done a search and cant find a single reference to it. Does anyone know how to stop it appearing each time the pc is started?

I have does various virus scans and all appears clear.

Any help appreciated

Vince

Well I would try a registry cleaner.

I try to avoid suggesting any software title, but it sounds like an invalid entry in the registry.

Start>Run>msconfig. Look for it there in the startup tab and take out the check mark.

It is a spyware module and an entry has been put into your startup file. The actual module was probably removed using one or another spyware removal tools but the entry in msconfig remains. Windows is simply trying to load this entry in the startup file but cant find it. Remove it from the startup file and all will be well.

Such messages about any DLL, can be a sign that computer has Malware in it.
Spyware are poorly written programs that can ruin a computer.

Do you check for, and remove, Spyware ??
Spyware includes ----
Adware, Dialers, Browser Hijackers, Trojans, Cookies,
Key Loggers, Trackware, and other Malware while browsing the internet.

Most Virus and Spyware scans are likely to work better in Windows Safe-Mode.

Thanks for the responses.

I fixed it by the msconfig route.
PC running normally again. Like terii suggested, it must have be a remnant of a previous spyware/malware which was previously removed.

Thanks again

Vince
