If the artifacts are present even when you boot into bios the problem is either the monitor or the graphics card. You can test the monitor easily enough just by disconnecting it from the PC. It should still give you access to on-screen display and/or give some kind of error message about signal out of range.

Presuming the monitor is OK that just leaves the graphics card. It may have become heat damaged.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

i checked the vidcard, the fan is still spinning and the temperature is like 41degrees (106F) i think that's ok.. when im browsing there is nothing wrong with the screen, even pictures on my computer are ok but the icons look f---ed up.. i want to know if the vidcard really the problem is and not just a virus!

Boot up with a floppy or bootable CD. Anything other than the harddrive. If there is any sign of the problem then it cannot be a virus since a virus has to load up into ram to have any effect. You seem unwilling to believe the graphics card is gone. It happens. I had an old Nvidia TNT2 go the same way a few years ago.
