VCD contents not shown

HI,
I've burned a VCD using PInnacleStudio8.4 software. BUt the strange thing is when I put that in CD Writer drive and double click on CD drive letter windows explorer says that CD is blank, but when I put the VCD in DVD drive VCD contents are visible.
Just wondering what could be the cause?
