I have recently sorted out a problem involving pop-ups and kazaa. I unistalled Kazaa and there are no more pop ups. But while using the browser window (IE) the Tab and Delete key doesnt work. Also, clicking on the close "X" in the top right of the window does nothing.

What now?

You probably have some corrupted IE files.
I have had lots and lots of trouble with IE6, but at the moment am running smoothly. What I did was use System File Checker; you need your Windows XP disc or the XP disc supplied with your computer.
I use SFC with a Dos prompt, but not sure this is absolutely necessary.
Go to Start, Run, and type: SFC /scannow
Note the space following SFC
It will take several minutes, and when the window disappears you should be all set.
Before doing all this, I suggest you close your anti-virus and screen saver, although again that may not be necessary.
Hope this helps.
George
