Hi,

I am writing a batch file that will copy files from one directory to another directory.

The files that are being copied are always from a known directory, however the directory that the files will be copied to will change from time to time. What I want to do is have the various batch files that do the copying reference a common text file that has the changing directory name in it (which will manually be updated prior to the copy) so that the files will copy to the "new" directory by reading the text that will set that. Can anyone give me a clue as to how this might work?

Thanks in advance.
