Is it possible to use the WinXP defragment tool to defrag my other partition with WinME on it?
I have WinME on drive C: and WinXP on drive D:
They are both fat32 partitions
is it possible to use the winxp defrag to defragment winme??
i just want to know, so i can use win xp while winme is defragging as opposed to leaving WinME to defrag and having no computer to use at all...

Absolutely. The XP defrag is nothing more than Diskeeper by Executive Software which works with 9x, ME, 2000,and XP. I have done exactly what you are doing. The XP defragger (diskeeper) is an excellent tool. Finally they got the defragger right.
