I am trying to use my TV for an output device. I have an S-Video pluged into the output of my computer and into the the input of my TV. From previous experience on another computer, I know my next step is to change the setting on the Display Properties-Settings-Advance area. But I cannot find the option to switch the display to my TV.

Specs:
Sony Viao with giga-pocket stuff
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (Sony)

Have an MX440 as well, and have, in the past, connected my TV to it ...

But back then, I was using release 41.xx of the nvidia drivers. Now I have the latest update(5216). I haven't tried it with this one, but if you plug the TV in, the card should auto-detect it. If not, then
DisplayProperties>Settings>Advanced>GeForce4>TroubleShooting has a 'detect displays' button. Does it work?

Can/should I get the old drivers mentioned above? Where?

Thanks.

I'm still trying to resolve this and if anyone can help, thanks.

Someone suggested to me going into my BIOS and change NTCS to PAL or vice versa. I'll give it a try but what do ya'll think.
