I'm trying to clone my reference computer with WinXP by Sysprep 2.0 (the latest verison from Microsoft). I have generate an answer file and I made a GHOST image by Norton after I shutdown WinXP by Sysprep (with Mini-Setup checked). It works fine when I clone the system on a target computer with the exact same hardware as my reference computer, however when I try to make a clone on a target computer with a different hardware(everything is total different) it just stopped and won't go through the mini-setup.

I thought Sysprep will clone any set of computer hardware that support Windows. Am I wrong... can any one help me?? If you guy have a different way of cloning a computer from a reference computer, please let me know....

Also.. I have also tried to install Linux 9 Red Hat alone with after I have install WinXP, but it turned out that it couldn't be Sysprep and I could clone it Either. Does anyone know how to clone a hardware with both WinXP and Linux 9??

If you're using the option labeled "Do Not Regenerate Security Identifiers" you should probably uncheck it... since each piece of hardware has it's own specific SID and by not allowing the setup to regenerate them you might cause that problem along with some other unwanted (unknown) side-effects.
