Hi I am trying to get my audio to work while typing to my daughter on MSN messenger 6.0. I have or I should say we both have realtek C97 audio on board sound on XP SP1 Home on a pentium 4 I have completed a search and read everything to do with Microphones on this site yes i have microphone showing in volumn. yes I have it unticked so it is not muted. Yes i have tested it through control panel Sound & audio devices voice test hardware. i have also used the wizard in MSN messenger and everything seems to be working fine. Even if my daughter does not have her end set up properly although she has followed my instructions and done all the tests as well she should be able to hear me shouldn't she? She has a logitek web cam i have none as yet so am only trying to use audio we both can record and both passed all hardware checks i am not sure what to try next. She did get an error saying "Your computer, Internet provider, or network may not support audio conversations or video conferences." she is on a STD dial up connection and I am on cabel. If anyone has any suggestions we could try all help would be greatly appreciated.
Kaz
