Specs: Windows XP
Hi all,

I connect my computer to the internet through an ethernet cable. But where I am located, there is also a wireless network. I would like to make certain applications use this wireless network, while keeping the other applications using the wired network. Is there a way to do this on Windows XP.

With thanks in advance.

No there isn't. Windows will only use one Internet connection at a time. Windows connects to the Internet via the Gateway address and it will only recognise one Gateway address.

There are way of doing what you want but you need specialist hardware and probably a version of Linux.

What if I run a Linux kernel through VMware for Windows...? Would it be possible to tell that Linux virtualization use the wireless network while the hosting Windows keeps using the wired network?
