Hi! Everybody, Can somebody explain to me as much as possible in detail how DSL exactly works and if you're connected to DSL/CABLE you're more likeable exposed to spam,viruses,spyware etc. or am I wrong? This of course,if you have it on! Thanks for your help and cooperation. Matt.

If your dsl modem is also a router or you use a router with the cable or dsl modem you are better protected then with dialup.
