Comment:

i had a office computer. I just bought a "JP Laserjet P2015D" printer.

When i plug the USB in, i cannot install the driver due to adminstrator-rights. I don't have the admin password. Then there is a box that says "the hardware may not function properly".

Can i ask how do i get the printer to print without using the driver or how to bypass the adminstrator rights to get the driver install?

Thanks.

as far as i kno it is not possible.

Id reccomend u ask the admin to install it for u.

And take a shot at installing just the driver, and not the bundled crap that comes on the cd.

And, the driver needs to be installed before you connect the hardware.
