I have a xpsp2 slipstreamed and would like to make one for sp3,

1. use xp cd + sp1+sp2+sp3 or
2. use xp cd + sp3 only

My xp cd does not have 1 or 2 on it, but when I did a clean install of xp I installed 1 then 2 and then xp3 came out and I installed it and everything works fine.

Service Pack three includes all prior updates and patches prior to the release of SP3. You only need to slipstream SP3.

Below is the link to the redistributable version of SP3. Look at the Overview comments.

i don't get it. if you have sp3 downloaded from the microsoft site in your pc it has a command line that slipstreams it to your installation files on your pc. why go to all that trouble thru nlite?

try the /h (or /help) parameter in a command line on the installation file of sp3.Something like this and it will give you the info to sleapstream it more easily

sp3.exe /h

After slipstreaming SP3 into the CD the next time installation is needed it will go much faster.
