Comment:

I recently downloaded a Windows Update. Windows Service Pack 32.

It was a big file and I left it to Download through the night.

In the morning it had finished downloading, but it wouldn't open, said it wasn't a valid WIN32 Application.

I turned the computer off, as it had been running all night.

When I tutrned the computer on a couple of hours later, and clicked my user account name and entered password, it said loading my personal settings then the computer just restarts itself, I have also started the computer in Safe Mode, but to no avail. We Have another user account and I can use that one just fine, i have scanned for a virus, and that comes up clear.

I downloaded the file from a safe website:
microsoft.com.

any suggestions/advice would be great

thanks.
