Comment: I have windows xp and I have three admin accounts set up. They are visible but I'm only able to launch mine. When I click on the other two nothing happens. Not even the screen to enter a password. The screen flashes and it returns to the screen with the multiple user accounts. Any help would be appreciated. msmrmm

Reply: (edit)what happens when you make a new account? Been doing anything with policies or logon scripts? What is different between the ok admin account and these? what errors are there in event viewer logs? Imagine the power of knowing how to internet search http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/FindInfo.html

Reply: (edit)This may or may not help: Go to start > control panel > performance and maintanance > administrative tools > computer management > local users and groups > users > right click users, select properties, try deselecting "user cannot change password" and "account is disabled" checkbox.

Reply: (edit)To wanderer--I have no problems when I create an account. It's only on the existing accounts. I haven't updated any policies and the computer in question is not in my possession so I'm not sure about the event log. I will check that and reply back. To brian12233- I will check that today..and let you know the results. Thanks for the info. msmrmm
