please help!!!!! iv got a web cam and the driver with windows 2000 driver.but it dosent work i tried everything.i think that is a conexant web cam(usb).on the camera thers a sticker with sc610x(model) tried to search but nothing....... please help!!!!! os xp

Is the cam recognized in the device manager. If so, any warnings? Are you certain that the USB cable is both in good condition and is in fact plugged completely in. Lastly, assuming you have the updated drivers, are you certain the USB port is functional ? (I had two that stopped working. Turned out my motherboard went bad) http://catchup.cnet.com/

i thought conexant was a communication company? IE: they only make modems and stuff like that? I did a search, and that model seems to be a creative webcam. I couldn't find any info on creative's website...it would be more helpful if you could name your webcam. I did find some creative usb webcam drivers for XP.

no mark of the menufector of it but in the install disc its conxant.i tryed to search in the men...site,nothing.but the install disc includes the 2000 driver and steel no help.after the installsion it says that there is a problem code 10.on the install disc theres a markof the version cmos 100k-x rev.2.1.16.1 please help!!!!!!!! thanks!!!! elad

i have to say that i checked the usb port and its fine!!!!! the camera was working!with my xp! but sens i reinstall the xp!nothing and i cant remember were to locate the update!i serched on the web!!but nothing and what is code 10????
