i have a usb keychain sorage thingy and it no longer shows up in (my computer) when i plug it in. it shows up in device manager but i can't access it. if i plug it into a different computer it works perfect. i've tried all the usb ports all act the same. the only thing i can think of is that my son messed with some settings. he can't remember if he did or not. any ideas are appretiated. thanks

the only solution to this i can think of is to uninstall drivers of usb by going to device manager. After put the usb storage disk back in so you can let windows install the drivers for it again.

jon: I had that problem at times on my Dell, which is now trashed after being under water for weeks in Katrina, and I would look for it in "My Computer" not see it. I would "Refresh" in IE and then it would appear. Good Luck

go into the manager (right-click my computer and pick "manage") ... go to disk management, see if it shows up there (while it's plugged in, obviously). if it is there, try changing the drive letter and then see if it shows up in my computer.
