So, I recently bought a new computer. I need to transfer some stuff from my new computer over. My freind lent me his "jumbo drive" which can hold 2g of files. The problem is when I click on the drive (removable disk (E:) in My Computer I get the error "Please insert a disk into drive E.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If that's the error message you're getting, then you're clicking on a CD or DVD drive. I assume the "Jumbo" drive is a USB stick/thumb/flash drive? Is it being detected when you insert it into a USB port? If so, a drive letter should be assigned, but it will indeed show as a Removable drive.

I'm not sure if it is a stick, thumb, or flash drive but it is the First one on this site. http://kasercorp.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=3
Yes it is being detected, i get the message

New hardware found
Disk Drive

then i get

New Hardware Found
GS-Magic 1024 (Not exact)

And then shortly after it says new hardware installed. I then go to My Computer and notice a new drive is there Drive E. When I click on it it says "Please insert a disk into drive E". Other times I tried I would click on it and it would just load but nothing would happen until i Ctrl+Alt+Delete'd and exited my comnputer.

So, it's blank? Have you tried copying any data to it?
