Hello all!
I was given a brand new 128 MB USB storage device (Keychain style), it was a Microsoft promo thing, but I can not store any files to it. When I go to save something on it, it asks me to "Insert Disk". Is there something that has to be done prior to using it? Device Manager says that it is working fine.

I can see it as "Disk 1 Removable(G:)", but it does not allow me to format it. When I try to format it, it tells me "There is no disk in drive G: Insert disk and try again." Is there a secret to formatting these things? Would changing the drive letter do anything?

Hi Maverick!
You might want to try a different approach to formatting the USB storage drive. Go to My Computer and see if your USB drive shows up on the list. If so, right click it and select "Properties"... then "Format".
Simple as that! :)

That did not work either. When I try to Format it it just tells me to insert disk. I guess this thing must be faulty!
