Hi

A couple of days ago I noticed that all 4 rear and 2 front usb ports on my computer were not working, as the computer was running a bit slow I figured it was time to re install XP

I have just finished re installing and the usb ports are still not working????

Any Ideas, I am hoping they are not fried on the Mobo? everything else seems to be running fine.

Thanks

cheers

Imagine if every Thursday your shoes exploded if you tied them the usual way. This happens to us all the time with computers and nobody thinks of complaining.

It's not likely that all the ports would die at the same time.

Have you reinstalled the motherboard drivers?

Check the Device Manager for problems.

Yes I reinstalled everything, and there seems to be nothing in the device manager wrong????

I am not sure what is happening!
