im posting this on behalf of a friend here is the problem:

He got a computer and got the wrong driver CD.

"The problem is that i cant get contact with the USB!! and i cant get the drivers because the CD is for ASUS P4B533 and the motherboard is P2C2000"

and then he asked me:

"Do you know how i can make the USB port working? because right now i can't use printer internet or anything using the usb!on the cd there are drivers BUT i can't get them!? (its not "highlighted" if you know what i meen? "

I am a complete an utter novice so I really need some advice on how I could help him fix this problem.
