I don't understand it but...I just connected my new usb midi keyboard (oxygen 8) and it powers up thru the USB port but...windows xp doesn't auto detect it and therefore doesn't install it. I don't know what to do. I installed it manually as well but...in Cubase, the program doesn't recognize that it's there so I can't select it as a midi in. please help. thanks.
