Hi, I recently purchased a Fujifilm digital camera. I installed all the software and drivers on the disk and the system recognizes the device all fine and dandy, but on the other hand.. when I go into My Computer and try to look for the USB mass storage drive, it isnt there. I went to the device manager and it says the device is working properly. I am not sure what is wrong... any help would be appreciated.
Under "universal serial buss controllers" there is a whole bunch of things listed -
"Intel to PCI enhanced controller"
"Intel(R) 820801DB/DBM USB Universal Bus Controller 24C2"
"Intel(R) 820801DB/DBM USB Universal Bus Controller 24C4"
"Intel(R) 820801DB/DBM USB Universal Bus Controller 24C7"
"USB 2.0 Root Hub"
"USB Mass Storage Device"
"USB Root Hub"
"USB Root Hub"
"USB Root Hub"

"Stop Hardware Devices" and listed under it is
"USB Mass Storage Device"
"Generic Volume"

Sometimes USB storage devices are recognized by assigned a drive letter that's already in use. With the device plugged in, right click My Computer and left click Manage. Go to Disk Management and find the device, then right click and change the drive letter to one that's available. You should then see it in My Computer and Explorer.
