I have always used a PS2 conn until now my new keyboard is usb only it is instaled in device manage problem is: half the board features are not enabled until comp has booted up ie the arrows keys do not let me choose my operating sustem when the boot manager hits the screen so how do I use a USB keyboard?

Check BIOS settings for a Legacy USB and ensure it is enabled.

All of the keys apart form the media ones should work when booting, the advice above should sort it.

enabled 'support for dos ' in bios
