Hello everybody..
When I attach flash disk to any USB port on my computer windows recognize it and it appears on system tray and on the device manager but it does not appear on my computer and it does not appear on disk management either.I tried it (flash disk) on other computer it worked just fine and I tried another flash disk on my computer and it did not work either. by the way I can only see the DVD drive on disk management i.e my local hard disk partitions are not there but they are accessible on my computer. This is driving me crazy every thing was fine I don't know what happened please help me!
Thank you,

... try leaving it "in" and reboot the pc.

... whipping it "in out" a couple of times sometimes helps

There is a problem with xp not the flash drive.

Might consider repair to xp or revert to restore point when it worked. May need clean install.

Be sure you know how to back up data and return all apps to system.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
