Just 'wiped and reloaded' XP Pro on a friend's Sony VAIO pc and had to go to Sony site for all of the drivers except USB controller driver. In device manager, there is a yellow circle by the 'Other Devices' and under that, is the USB controller. I thought that after I reloaded XP Pro and then loaded SP2 that the system would find the driver. Can't seem to find the right place on the 'Net to get a new driver. Help! Thanks for any help.
He said that he could not find the recovery disc(go figure). It's a desktop pc. Just need the USB controller driver. Thanks for the reply.
