Hello Everybody,
I bought a Memory stick card reader from Digital Concepts but it doesn't work.
When I install it there is a failure.I just know that the first thing recognised by window is the GL817 Reader and the USB Mass storage and then the driver is missing
Then when I put the drivers I got the following message:Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Or the code 45 and the message that Windows cannot start the device
I tested the reader under french and english OS W2k sp4, W XP, SP1 and SP2.
If some one have a clue please help...

did you test the memory stick in another computer to see if it is the stick that has the problem, and most of the memory sticks come with drivers, if not you can download them from you manuf. website, try those...

It has been my experience that with XP and Win2000 you don't require drivers. Just plug and go. You will need the drivers with win98. Try uninstalling the drivers and using the card reader in your XP or 2000 machines. And, as suggested above, try the card reader in another computer.
