can i use this modem in windows xp where do i find it please help me
Ola Juanito: Not sure what kind of US Robotics modem you are talking about, but you need to get the XP drivers for it at www.usr.com. With an XP driver, there shouldn't be any reason I can think of that it wouldn't work. Be sure you know the model number of your modem before you go to the website. You require the model number in order to direct to the webpage for the drivers for your particular modem. Good luck.

You can run the WinXP Upgrade Advisor and it will tell you if your hardware and software is compatible:
US Robotics list their modem compatibilities with XP here:
http://www.usr.com/support/s-windows.asp
If you don't know your modem model number ther is a product code finder here:
http://www.usr.com/support/product-code.asp

Yes, but the Upgrade Advisor isn't infallible. If it had advised me tht my Lucent WinModem was not going to work under XP I wouldn't have wasted a day surfing for a driver that apparently isn't going to be produced. Still, at least I found this great site!
