Morale of the story, don't use the family computer for porn, because it it ain't a private matter anymore!

Anyway, download Spybot, Adaware, and Microsoft antispyware. I rest assured one of them will eradicate it and I'd advise you to use all of them at least once. Only the Microsoft will use an automatic protection, kinda like a tray icon.

Let me know how these works, good lucks. They also got good reviews from download.com and you can actually download the files from there as well.

Here are their links

Go to http:\\www.panicware.com\ and navigate to their downloads page. About half-way down the page you will find their FREE PopUp Stopper program. Download and install, and get rid of those pesky pop-ups.

One other tip:

Make sure you stop and disable altogether XP's messenger service which should not be confused nor is it related to Windows Messenger.

Do not type anything in this space.

You might also consider a different browser like Firefox with built-in pop-up software.
Also prevent spyware from installing on your computer by installing SpywareBlaster.

FIREFOX

SPYWAREBLASTER

well porn is gone but intenet explorer is still opening at start up. this happens when i am logged out for sometime and then log in. i installed panicware free pop-up blocker and i do scans with microsoft antispyware but even after i do these like i said b4, if i log out for some time and then log back in, IE opens back up at start up. (what website does it go to??) it goes to some site tat offers screensavers most of the time. anyway to keep internet explorer from opening. i should mention that i also installed Mozilla. does that mean that i can uninstall IE?
