Comment:

The image currently displayed on the monitor is upside down. When the computer first boots, the WindowsXP image is right side up, but when the when the wallpaper, shortcuts, etc are displayed, the image is upside-down.

I have tried the Ctrl+Alt+arrow with no success. The computer acts like is it trying to flip the image for the screen goes blank for a few seconds, but the image is always upside down. Additionally, I have installed the actual drivers for the Dell monitor that is hooked up, but that didn't fix the upside down image either. Does anyone else have any other suggestions to try?
