Hi, I am using 98se and want to upgrade to xp pro. My question is, if I just reformat C and have two other partitions, D & E. Will the read only info on D and E still be accessable in those partitions after reformatting C and making it into XP Pro. Thanks.

Yes the data will still be there and be accessable by XP but any application installed to those drives will have to be reinstalled.

It should be readable. I would back up just in case though.
