Hi everyone, I recently upgraded to Windows XP from Windows 98 SE. Basically i did this because i'd just installed 632mb new RAM and Windows 98 SE simply couldn't handle anything over 332mb! Anyway, to combat the problem while i was still using 98 SE i added a line to the 'vcache' section of the system.ini file, limiting the computer to 332mb RAM. I also put the DMABufferSize to 332. Now that i'm with Windows XP, should i change the values of these two settings to reflect the 632mb RAM i do have, or should i simply delete both those lines and let Windows get on with it?

Delete the lines and let Windows get on with it. XP handles memory totaly different than Windows 98. system.ini, Win.ini, config.ini and all the other inis are not needed by Windows XP. They are only there for backward compatability.
