Trying to install SP 3. Keeps telling me not enough room on the hard drive even though I have 13 GB free. Even dumped some programs and defragmented.

Also trying installing in safe mode. How can I get this upgrade to install? I'm using it on a Mac Pro.

Empty the Recycle.bin, empty the \windows\Temp folder and try again.

You need enough space to unpack the SP3 files plus temp space to run the installer. I don't remember how big.
