upgrade to run Hp Easy Cd Creator

I recently had windows XP installed but now my HP Easy CdWiter Plus (8200a)won't run properly, it says that my windows will become unstable if I do and I should get an upgrade, which i can't find anywhere on the net. HELP!!!
