im looking to upgrade my current mb to one which supports dual processors, pcie, and has the capability to run 4 hdd's and a dvd rewriter..

im also on the lookout for a decent graphics card, one that will run the latest games like MoH Airborne, but at a sensible price...ive kinda lost touch with the latest stuff in the past few months so even a good website would help.

also...any tips on my current setup that you can see would be appreciated

cheers

Do you mean douCore processor? There aren't many MBoards around that will run 4 IDE/ATA harddrives and non that will run that 4 plus an ATA optical drive.

Your best bet would be to get a MBoard with SATA II controllers and 1 IDE controller that will connect two IDE/ATA drives. Then get a controller card to run the remaining IDE drives. Option 2 is to get a removable drive tray and rails and interchange the extra drives as needed. Might be cheaper to just lose the smaller drives.

There are some Nvidia chipsets on current boards that will support 4 SATA II and $ IDE drives. Do a search at Newegg.com for the MBoard and a PCI based IDE controller card.
