|First of all, if 8200K (8 Meg) is truly the amount of RAM you have, you wouldn't even be able to boot XP. You're going to need at least 64MB for it to install, 128MB for it to do anything (extremely slowly), and 512MB for it to do much of anything decently:|
Your machine apparently doesn't support more than 128MB:
therefore, unless you max-out the memory and seriously "slim-down" XP, you're going to be sorely disappointed with the results.
You'd also find XP drivers for that machine to be non-existent; HP's (Compaq's) site doesn't even have them:
