updating xp with no activation

Specs: Windows XP, 3.0/512
I'am wondring how the computer manifacture install xp pro with all the update and when the customer receive the computer is asked to register it. As far as I know updatting the computer can not be done without registring it first.I want to run all the update and have the customer register the computer when he receive it.

when i checked the update on the computer. it has all the updates even explorer 8 and when i turn it on it ask me to activate the xp pro and it give me the 30 days activation notice

Activating & registering are two different things.

Registering comes up during the installation, & is not
compulsory.

Activation must be made within 30 days.
