Specs: Windows XP
I dual booted Backtrack 3 on my Windows XP machine. BT3 has an old version of Firefox and I am trying to update it. Can anyone help me? I have no clue what to do. I am new to Linux software and couldn't find help online.

Please request that this post be moved from the XP forum to the Linux forum so you can get advice. With windows, you would download, but with Linux, you generally use the equivalent of a program manager for installs and updates. You would get better specific advice in the Linux forum, or google 'Backtrack Forums'.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.

BackTrack is a distribution used for forensics/pen testing amongst other ethical hacking features. Why would you care what version Firefox is on? Anyway Mozilla's website should contain information on "how" to install it. You may need to compile it from source.
