What you need is a discrete graphics card, do you know what slots (AGP/PCI) are available on your motherboard?

You've gotta know the available interface before buying the card - else you end up with a wrong card.

Does your PC have a model name?

Download Everest HE, it will tell you what components make up your PC including the motherboard.

Next time, please refrain (security reasons) from posting the IP address part of your system details.

Apparently, you have an AGP slot, so all you need is a suitable AGP card (see below) for your CPU.

BTW, I would recommend you increase your memory (RAM) to at least 512MB but prefarably 1GB.

"the media card need to be updated

Well, (as in your other post) I wonder what's prompting this 'need'

While there is no argument that a dedicated graphics card is better in general, depending on your actual use of the computer, your present adapter may be perfectly adequate

Saying that XP is the most stable MS OS is like saying that asparagus is the most articulate vegetable

jboy..........thanks for your help.

I downloaded a game (Cosmic Bugs - demo) from Real Arcade. After installation, when I click play........the music would play, but no video (black screen). I called real arcade and the guy directed me to the directX diagonstic tool. He asked for the name of manufacturer and the date on media card (2/9/2006) he then told me I needed to update the media card. That is what prompted my search.

All the other games I downloaded from that location worked fine, except for cosmic bugs and water bugs.

you can also try updating the drivers of your video card. Go to ecs website and find your motherboard. Look for any updated video drivers. If you find one then download and install that.
