i just recently started to get a pop up that tells me i need to buy software to disable this pop up. i dont buy it and there has got to be someway to disable it. its very annoying it pops up every so often and takes right out of whatever i am doing to read it. benchmark, gaming ect. what the hell is this thing, has anyone else every heard of this?? it is not an internet popup, it seems to just display a message and leave with the the OK button to click out of it.very annoying, please help

This sounds like Messenger messages being spamed to you. Rather than buy the software that they are trying to sell you, try this;
1. Open the Start Menu and pick Settings->Control Panel 2. Double-click on Administrative Tools 3. Double-click on Services 4. Find the Messenger service in this list 5. Double-click on Messenger 6. Click on Stop 7. Change Start Up type to Manual 8. Click OK
