unpartitioned disk space

I just pattitioned/formatted my HDD during a new install of XP. While doing so I thought I was setting up the HDD into 2 equal partitions and installed th OS on one. It turns out 1/2 the drive is unpartitioned and does not show up as available space. The Question: How do I get the unpartitioned space back? is there a way to get this space back without reinstalling the entire OS from disk? Thanks, Joe

Joe, Right click on My computer Icon, Click on Manage. Under Storage click on Disk Management, select the unpartitioned space, Right click and select format.
Good luck
