This problem seemed to happen randomly. I was on championship manager and when i turn off the game it crashes with black lines accross the screen; so normally i restart my pc and it's ok. This time it goes to options like: Safe Mode, Safe mode with networing, safe mode with command prompt, load previous settings, start windows normally.

Whatever option I click, even safe mode with command prompt which i've heard solves the problem still goes onto the blue screen error.

'UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME'
It shows all info what to do but that does not work.
It also shows this at the botom

***STOP: 0X000000ED (0x81782E30, 0xC0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Is there anyway to solve this?
I cannot even use my original cd that came with the pc to do a clean reboot as it says that a file is missing

You need to run chkdsk /r from the recovery console via an XP disc. What exactly does your disc do? (include error verbatim)

my disc resets hard drive to beginning, when you load this it comes up with, boot from hard disk or boot from pc. on boot from pc u pick languagye then, setup recovery. Problem is it says the file required for reboot is not there and you have to find it manually (retten.exe)
