|On many Dells, the factory splits the hard drive into 2 partitions. One is where the OS is and all of your files, and the other is for restoring your computer to it's factory condition. Have you reformatted the drive? If so, you will most likely need to reinstall Windows, but try this first.|
1. At the BIOS, press F12.
2. Select something like "Dell Recovery Boot" or something related.
3. Follow the steps to do a recovery on your system.
