Specs: Windows XP
I have five locked registry keys, at least one of which, an IMAIL key will not allow me to update, uninstall, or install Adobe Reader software.

In direct answer to your subject line:

Download PsTools from here:

The file you want (inside zip) is 'psexec.exe'

I put mine in a sub-folder 'C:\Program Files\PsExec' and start it with the following batch file (in the same folder):
Start "" "c:\Program Files\PsExec\psexec" -i -d -s c:\windows\regedit.exe

For future convenience make a shortcut to the batch file (I called mine 'Regedit Unrestricted'). This will produce the usual regedit screen but allows you to remove or change locked entries.
