As an FYI, Windows XP SP2 will indicate "known Publisher" (or untrusted publisher) when you attempt to run programs or download programs that are not digitally signed. There is a tweak for it HERE but I would steer clear of these sites following Chuck post above. i_XpUser

well iam trying to get into chat website i used to chat when i was working with XP Pro. SP1 but with SP2 could not get into this chat room , i think the problem some where in the Group Policy !!!! i mean there is Afunction to disable this Unknown Publisher ??? because i trust this website but the problem is with Win Pro. SP2 only thank you really for trying to help

If you trust that website, then this will tell you how to add it to the IE Trusted Zone. Otherwise, you may wish to download and use Mozilla Firefox as your alternative browser for those websites. Good luck. i_XpUser
